  I was advised to go to immediate medical care, to get a lyme test, because I had a reaction to a tick bite 2 weeks ago. I have nurse and doctor friends, who told me to do this as a precautionary measure. The doc I saw, said that they didn't know what they were talking about and refused to order the bloodwork, even though I was there having bmp labs done anyway. He made me feel stupid for being here about this. I really dislike this whole practice.....the follow up was good though...a contacted a physicians supervisor, they got in touch with my PA, and SHE ordered the lyme panel (too many false negatives, with the single lyme test)...so for the PA julie B and the supr....I give them 5 stars. I didn't change my original rating because too many of us, in the kalamazoo area, have found many errors in our health history files, since promed went electronic with records. Also, this practice is a revolving door for physicians, practitioners and PA's... many of our appointments have been cancelled due to the person leaving this practice.
